 ANOTHER STRONG NASCAR NEXTEL CUP SEASON FOR BOSCH: JIMMIE
JOHNSON IS TOP DRIVER ON BOSCH SPARK PLUGS
HOMESTEAD, FL, November 20 2005 -- The 2005 NASCAR Nextel Cup Season
came to a close here Sunday at Homestead-Miami Speedway as teams and
drivers on Bosch finished another highly successful season of stock car
racing. Running a combination of Bosch spark plugs and Bosch
alternators, a strong array of teams dominated the 36-race Nextel cup
season. Stock cars running on Bosch were again the fastest qualifiers,
capturing pole position starts in over 80% of the races. Entries on
Bosch also won more than 70% of the 36 races run in the '05 season.
Jimmie Johnson led the series in points most of the season, driving the
Lowe's Chevrolet Monte Carlo for Hendrick Motorsports, and was the top
driver on Bosch, taking 6th place in the final Chase for the
Championship. |

 CHAMP CAR WORLD SERIES FINALE TO JUSTIN WILSON; SEBASTIEN
MEXICO CITY, MX, November 6, 2005 -- Justin Wilson won the Champ Car World
Series season finale here Sunday on a road circuit in Mexico City. Driving a
Bosch spark plug-equipped Lola Ford Cosworth for RuSport Racing, Wilson won his
second Champ Car race of the season. Sebastien Bourdais won six races during
the season and took a repeat series crown. It also marked the 18th straight
Champ Car Crown for Bosch. Bourdais drove the Bosch-sparked McDonald's Lola
Ford Cosworth for Newman-Haas Racing. |

 SCOTT DIXON CAPTURES INDYCAR WIN AT WATKINS GLEN ON BOSCH
WATKINS GLEN, NY, September 25, 2005 -- New Zealand's Scott Dixon won the
inaugural Indy Racing League IndyCar Grand Prix at the Watkins Glen International
road course in New York here Sunday for his first victory since taking the
2003 series championship. Driving a Bosch-sparked Target Chip Ganassi Racing
Panoz Toyota, Dixon led over the final 12 laps to average 114.771 mph and won by
0.6540 of second. Danica Patrick, who became the first woman to lead the
Indy 500 earlier this season, finished 16th in her Rahal-Letterman Racing Panoz
Honda on Bosch to wrap up top rookie honors for the season. |
